On a wedding day, I work in a mostly documentary way by observing, anticipating, and quietly weaving myself into the rhythm of your celebration. I focus on real interactions not just staged moments, capturing the laughter, tears, and everything in between.
I don’t over-direct or interrupt the flow, instead, I let the day unfold naturally and step in with gentle guidance only when it’s truly helpful like during portraits or family photos.
I’m always looking for the balance between artful and honest. I pay attention to light, color, and composition so your images feel elevated and cinematic, while still being a true reflection of you and your people. From the big “I do” moments to the quiet in-betweens, my goal is to create a visual story that feels vibrant, emotional, and timeless. A gallery where you can truly relive your day.
My photography is all about real moments and emotion. I work in a documentary style, blending in effortlessly so you can be fully present with each other. I like to refer to my posing style as curated candids, I often use prompts instead of traditional posing, while mixing in those classic portraits.

Shelby was amazing to work with!! Not only a fabulous photographer, but also a kind and super laid back individual! Our engagement photos took place on, perhaps, the most humid day of the decade and she still produced beautiful pictures (& tolerated the heat with us without a second thought). She was just as wonderful at the wedding, letting us share our ideas and adding her creative twist. The pictures again turned out perfectly!!
